How does water quality monitoring work with EUSATEC?

Ensure high quality of your waters

By means of self-sufficient sensor technology without electricity and internet in combination with modern monitoring, the condition of water bodies is permanently monitored. The main areas of application are fish farming. Various values can be queried at any time via the EUSATEC IoT platform, e.g. the pH value, oxygen content, temperature, etc.

As soon as certain threshold values are reached, you receive a real time message on your smartphone. The systems can be used very flexibly and are adapted to the existing conditions.

How can you put the EUSATEC monitoring solution into operation?

First, mount the unit on the existing mast using the brackets provided. Alternatively, you can also place the device on an optional floating platform. Then carefully lower the sensors into the water and fix them there. The battery and solar panels are already integrated.

Now connect the sensors to the station. They have already been calibrated and can be connected directly. Go to the cloud settings to set your notification email address for alarm messages. Please note that the EUSATEC platform is also available as an app for iOS and Android.

Measurements are taken every 20 minutes to ensure accurate data. As soon as the threshholds you have set are reached, you will receive alerts either by email or in real time via the app. This way you are always informed and can react appropriately.

What are the requirements for using an EUSATEC monitoring solution?

We recommend using the SIGOX IoT network, so you should first check whether SIGFOX IoT network coverage is available. Then you can get started.

SIGFOX IoT network coverage is not available?

You have two options!

Simply install the Sigfox Mini radio cell (don't worry, this is easily and quickly done or we will be happy to do it for you). If there is a signal but it is weak and fluctuating, then simply install a repeater. (Don't worry, this is quick as it is battery operated and no cables need to be laid).

All too complicated? No problem, we can also deliver mobile radio-based (just let us know). An integrated battery is automatically charged via solar, so everything is also available without a power connection.
